Experience 

Prof. (Dr) Pawan Kumar Verma has an extensive academic career, starting as an Assistant Professor cum Junior Scientist in the Division of Veterinary Pharmacology & Toxicology at SKUAST-Jammu in 2005. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2017 and became a full Professor in 2020. With over 145 publications and more than 2000 citations, Dr. Verma’s research focuses on the toxicological effects of agrochemicals and metals, along with the therapeutic potential of medicinal herbs. He has guided numerous postgraduate students, serving as a Major Advisor for 4 MVSc and 1 PhD student, and has been a member of advisory committees for 29 others. In addition to his teaching and research, he actively participates in various scientific societies and committees, enhancing the field of veterinary pharmacology and toxicology.
