Laura Yesenia Solís Ramos is an accomplished researcher and academic from San José, Costa Rica, currently serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Costa Rica (UCR). She holds a Ph.D. in Plant Sciences and Biotechnology from the Centro de Investigación Científica de Yucatán (CICY) in Mérida, Mexico, and a Master’s degree in Forest Ecology from the Universidad Veracruzana, Xalapa, Mexico. Her Bachelor’s degree in Forest Engineering was obtained from the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica.
