Raymond Kaempfer is the Dr. Philip M. Marcus Professor of Molecular Biology and Cancer Research, with a distinguished career spanning over five decades. He has held professorships at Hebrew University-Hadassah Medical School and Harvard University, contributing extensively to molecular biology, microbiology, and biochemistry. His research includes significant work in protein biosynthesis, molecular virology, and cytokine biology. Kaempfer has been a visiting professor and scientist at leading international institutions, including Fondation Curie, University of Gent, and University of Rome. An elected EMBO member, he is actively involved in the International Society for Interferon and Cytokine Research and the International Cytokine Society.
