Souleymane Nacro is a senior entomologist and expert in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) with over four decades of experience in both fundamental and applied research. He holds a PhD in biological sciences and a Master’s degree in integrated water resource management. His career has focused on the formulation and implementation of IPM programs, capacity-building initiatives, and the coordination of national research projects. Nacro has an extensive publication record, including 91 research articles, two books, and multiple book chapters, reflecting his contributions to entomology and sustainable agriculture. Beyond research, he has applied his expertise to the management of private sector ventures in biofuels production. Throughout his career, he has been recognized with numerous awards and fellowships for his professional impact and leadership, underscoring his influence in advancing agricultural science and environmental management. His work continues to serve as a benchmark in the fields of entomology and integrated pest management.
