Dr. Joydip Dutta is a physicist with strong interdisciplinary expertise spanning nanophotonics, quantum engineering, and advanced materials characterization. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, where his research focused on the preparation and characterization of lanthanide-doped yttrium-based materials for multifunctional applications. His academic background also includes a master’s degree in Applied Physics and a bachelor’s degree in Physics (Honours), both completed with first-class distinction. Professionally, he has served in postdoctoral and senior research roles within premier academic and industrial environments, contributing to both fundamental research and applied projects. His technical proficiency includes chromatography techniques using high-resolution mass spectrometry, solar cell and photovoltaic measurements, and advanced X-ray–based analytical methods such as XRD and XPS. His work reflects a strong combination of experimental skills, instrumentation expertise, and applied research experience across physics, chemistry, and engineering domains.
